5.0 star star star star starI've known and have been cared for by Nurse M-A Meyer for several years. Each time, I look forward to my visit with her because I know I'll walk away with added knowledge for taking care of my health. One example: I had a nephroligist (not NWM) appointment during which visit, that "specialist" got concerned about the level of protein in my urine test. Her reaction was to exclaim "what do you want me to do for you!!!!". 5 months later, I had my Medicare checkup with Nurse Meyer. She enquired what I had for breakfast that morning. When I replied I had a typical American breakfast: one egg and 2 TJ's breakfast sausages, she went online to check the content of protein in them plus egg. It was after several years of being treated for advanced CKD that someone made me aware of that source of damage on my kidneys. Today, for the first time in more than 20 years did a PCP checked the glands in my neck. I've gone sometime many months without the support of a PCP because they disapointed me with their approach. NOT NURSE MEYER! 10/10 score.

5.0 star star star star starMary-Anne Meyer is hands down the BEST medical professional I have ever gone to for my healthcare. She is attentive (an excellent listener and communicator) to all of my needs. She revisits my chart and asks exhaustive questions about every previous health issue to check on the current status. When necessary, Mary-Anne addresses the issue again. My current health concerns are taken seriously and she asks many questions in order to pinpoint possible causes; she provides multiple solutions to try at home. I am given referrals to specialists when a deeper investigation and treatment is warranted. Mary-Anne provides a comprehensive check-up. She makes sure I am up to date with all preventative inoculations, follow a regular exercise plan, eat clean and she addresses my mental/emotional needs. All bases are covered so that I have the best quality of life possible for both now, and my future. My healthcare is in great hands!

5.0 star star star star starMary-Anne is, quite simply, the best health care professional I have ever worked with. Medicine is full of people who possess the requisite skill, training and and expertise to be considered a "professional". However, far too few of them also possess the willingness and capability to provide the patience, empathy and understanding necessary for patients to feel that they've received true "care" instead of simply "treatment".
