5.0 star star star star starI really appreciated how personable he was. He didn’t make me feel rushed at all. He answered all my questions, explained the reasoning behind why decisions are made, and made me feel like I was heard. I left my appointment feeling so much better about my upcoming birth. Definitely appreciated seeing him today. One of the best appts I’ve had so far in the practice.

5.0 star star star star starI feel so lucky to have been connected with Dr. Garvey. He is professional, efficient and compassionate. He explains things in ways that you clearly understand and never makes you feel rushed. For us specifically, I needed a procedure and he went out of his way to make sure I was able to get scheduled in a timely manner and even made himself available for it.

5.0 star star star star starAlthough I usually only have one visit a year with Dr Garvey I always feel like it could have been last month. His attention and responsiveness to my questions are always appreciated. Sometimes I email through my chart and get quick responses ( EG. rx refill).

5.0 star star star star starDr. Garvey was very educational, kind, thorough, and easy to talk to. I told him I was a labor nurse and he still took the time to formally educate me on what to expect, dos and donts ect, and didn’t assume that I knew everything about pregnancy ect. I really appreciated that!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
