5.0 star star star star starHe seemed nice, and spoke to me like a person, this was my first time meeting him. He was nice when he came in, gave me an elbow bump, let me know what was going on and had me look at the scope and explained what was going on.

5.0 star star star star starHe was definitely highly recommended. Plus, he offered various procedures for my consideration. These were to be done before any radical treatment was decided upon. He is knowledgeable with new treatments and procedures.

5.0 star star star star starMeeting for the first time. I was choosing a new Dr . Because Dr Nadler was leaving the practice. Was easy to talk to. Used language that I could understand. Answered all my questions. Had reviewed my records.

4.0 star star star star star_borderDr. Meeks was initially informative and helped me to understand my options with regard to care. Since then, he has little time to talk, and has been reluctant to offer advice. He has been entirely professional.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Meeks is a credit to NM Urology because of many reasons including his taking the time to attentively listen to my situation; I did not feel at all rushed. His providing me with state of the art prescription alternatives to my urology medication was a reflection of his knowledge and his being very up to date on medications for my situation. He also educated me on my options for reducing the cost of my medications. Although I only know Dr. Meeks in this clinical professional setting, he advised and treated me not only as a very competent physician but also as a friend.

5.0 star star star star starHe’s the best and the reason I decided to have Northwestern take care of me. He explains the situation in a clear way and lets you feel like he will be working with you and fighting for you and doesn’t scare you. He says things like if it doesn’t work, we’ll just try something else. He also lets you know he will be checking the situation as we go along with frequent scans and checks. He gives me confidence in him and knowledge so I know what will be going on.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Meeks was prepared and knowledgeable about my health history, asked relevant questions for more information and seemed genuinely concerned and interested in my situation. He also considered options beyond protocol which is crucial for my very complicated health issues.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
