5.0 star star star star starWas very thorough in her explanation of why my fatigue is due to my heart condition or lungs. She is recommending me to take further breathing test. Also she found I had a little fluid in my ankles and is sending my Cardiac Dr this information to see what next steps he'll take to remedy this problem

5.0 star star star star starEven though I was a novice patient of hers, the doctor was prepared and clearly familiar with my medical history. To questions l had that depended on others (sometimes in other departments), she provided answers within 36 hours. All the above in a congenial and professional manner.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Schroedl is a superb diagnostician. Thoughtful, caring, systematic, exhaustive, deliberate and extremely intelligent. It's unfortunately rare to see a physician so clearly at the top of their game. She worked through my condition and symptoms in a way that clarified options, explained her approach and how we would manage it going forward. I am filled with confidence as a result. I hope she's teaching new physicians.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
