5.0 star star star star starDr Harlow was really kind to me. I made my situation worse by using q tips as a stressor while working from home since 2020. He didn't dismiss me even though I did this to myself and has terrific bedside manner as well as being very skilled in his job including the ability to check my general symptoms without instruments. My grandfather was a general surgeon who instructed at Wayne State and I have had the immense benefit of growing up around his students who were also my mom's classmates. Dr Harlow would have made my grandfather proud for the state of US medical professionals today. I am very thankful that I met him.

5.0 star star star star starHe was attentive, had read the chart and knew my history, made eye contact and seemed interested in my input as well as his own observations, discussed how to address my concerns in the future, did a quick exam rather than relying only on the history, offered a followup visit in 6 months, and pointed me in the right direction when it was time to leave.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
