5.0 star star star star starDr.Persell is an outstanding doctor!! His input, his knowledge of my health situation and his advice makes sense. I was even given the opportunity to change doctors and go to another hospital and i refused it!! I will never change doctors or hospitals as long as it is up to me!! I appreciate you all very much!!

5.0 star star star star starI like that I'm not just another number, or patient to him. Dr. Persell took his time to examine me, and to ask indepth questions that indicated that he had considered my case thoroughly. He's always been quick to help me out when I'm in need. He's definitely one of the bet doctors I've had.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Persell is the best doctor I've ever worked with, and I'm grateful that he has been my primary care physician for so long. He's knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. He has an incredible ability to communicate complex medical issues in down-to-earth ways.

5.0 star star star star starHis bedside manner as a physician comes from a place where you can tell he really cares and is willing to take the time and ask you relevant questions. He also took my vitals and most doctors have the nurses do it, which is their job, and I can tell he was extraordinarily busy, so I appreciated this extra effort.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Persell answers my questions on a level I can understand. He listens to my concerns and does not dismiss them. He is caring and empathic. However, Dr. Persell has very limited clinic hours. I wish he had more flexibility and availability such as morning appointments. -- I believe he only has clinic appointments two days a week from 3-5 p.m. Perhaps one or two days a month he can have morning appointments available. Or, perhaps he can start his clinic at 1 p.m. rather than 3 p.m. one or two days a month.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
