5.0 star star star star starI had been to Mayo Clinic for my problem but saw Dr Dahdaleh for a second opinion and a neurosurgeon close to home. I was very impressed with his bedside manner, the level of detail he discussed during the appointments. He always does a thorough examination and discusses various options. I decided to have surgery with him( instead of the Mayo Clinic). Dr Dahdaleh’s visits were thorough and yet exudes kindness. I am very happy that I had surgery done by him. I have already referred a close friend to see him. Dr Dahdaleh, I am fortunate to have you as my surgeon. I wish all the best!

5.0 star star star star starHe’s the first physician (I’ve seen 3 different primary care doctors and 3 different orthopedic surgeons on n McHenry County (plus a chiropractic doctor, and a pain specialist MD). Not one had been able to confirm an accurate diagnosis, (or performed a thorough, relevant neurological exam) with a logical plan to treat (or at least didn’t discuss it with me!). Dr. Dadaleh was kind, yet efficient and took the time to explain why I was having such pain and why I need the type of surgery he suggested.

5.0 star star star star starI’ve experienced 5 surgeries on my spine and he was the most professional from his office visits to the actual procedure and discharge, I’ve met no other doctor like that!! I would consider him top notch.

5.0 star star star star starDr Dahdaleh is very thorough in explaining things. He answered all questions we had. And just like the initial visit, I was able to bring my husband and son in the room with his permission. He had the recent images and compared it to the initial images making it a lot easier to understand what’s going on.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Dahdaleh is a very good and gifted surgeon, who also spends as much time with you, as you feel necessary, to respond to all of your questions. Through the surgery done on me, all of the pain I started with, was relieved.

5.0 star star star star starYou can sense immediately in Dr. Dahdaleh the deep fundamental knowledge, the strong expertise, and the solid clinical skills. Dr. Dahdaleh took all the needed time to go with me and my wife through the reports and supporting imagery. He explained in details the medical conditions the potential approaches and plans to address them. I would highly recommend Dr. Dahdaleh' for the neurological spine care.

4.0 star star star star star_borderHe seemed technically competent and on both of my appointments with him he seemed to listen, convey info clearly, and give me the time I needed to get all my questions answered. My reluctance here has to do with "systems issues"...... I think there should ave been more opportunities for direct communication with him - and it would have smoothed the way through the pre and post op phases.

5.0 star star star star starHe is not only a skilled and knowledgeable surgeon but he has great compassion and makes you feel like you are giving him a gift and an honor by being his patient rather than the patient truly being blessed to be treated by him.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Nader Dahdaleh is a very kind and understanding. He talked and explained what I wanted to know. I wasn’t too, disappointed because I knew I have to be a certain weight before any back surgery can be done.Unfortunately I have a very sick back. If and when that time comes Dr. Dahdaleh would be the only doctor that will do my surgery!

5.0 star star star star starDr Dahdaleh was really thorough in explaining the results of the MRI. He prescribed an oral meds for the pain. From the waiting area, since it was a second opinion visit, I asked the nurse that directed us to the room if I can bring my husband with me. She said NO, just one…so my son came with me. When we were in the room, I asked Dr Dahdaleh if my husband can be in the room too and he said yes! That was comforting to have my family and was able to listen to the doctor. The 1 hour and 30 minutes drive was worth it! I feel comfortable with the doctor. And I’ll see him in 3 months.

5.0 star star star star starI did recommend Dr. Dahdaleh to my brother who was quite ill due to a localized pain killer. Dr. Dahdaleh put together a team of experts to treat my brother. My brother has improved tremendously—thanks to Dr. Dahdaleh’s leadership and expertise.
