At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
I did recommend Dr. Dahdaleh to my brother who was quite ill due to a localized pain killer. Dr. Dahdaleh put together a team of experts to treat my brother. My brother has improved tremendouslyâ€â€thanks to Dr. Dahdaleh’s leadership and expertise.
He listens to the patient and very informative. He makes sure you understand by visual understanding (mri). You are encouraged to ask questions for clarity. You do not feel like a number but a patient that knows the doctor cares and want to give the best care for them.
His reputation as a leading practitioner in his field is well deserved and his supporting organization is excellent.
Dr Dahdaleh provided very clear information on diagnosis and treatment options and coordination with SRAL physicians and therapists.
I suffered for 2 years prior to having surgery on my cervical spine.I was not able to work.I had pain, weaken, dizziness. It was debilitating I thought I would have to stop working as a nurse. Now I am back to work.I have a new lease on life. He is an exceptional surgeon and he is so compassionate to me as a patient and person. He is a great asset to Northwestern Medical center.
He is the best. I believe he is one of the best neurosurgeons around. The amount of highly technical surgery and the intricacy of all the orthopedic equipment he had to correctly implant is amazing. My hat is off to him. Thank you Dr. Dahdaleh.
The doctor was very good. Both me and my wife were appreciative of how well he listened to my problem and how well he explains nee and showed us what is going on with my back. If I do need surgery I will be confident in him.
Dr. Dahdaleh has built a great doctor-patient relationship with me over a ten year span. He is in my opinion a great surgeon who is thorough in getting to the root of my health issues of my back.
Dr. Dahdaleh has remained the same kind, considerate and thoughtful gentleman since the first day we met.
Dr.Dahdaleh has perform two surgeries on my neck for cervical stenosis and related problems such as peripheral neuropathy. These were very in depth intricate surgeries and I am doing fine. The long term results of these procedures will not be known for some time since much therapy is required and I am just beginning that. As far as Dr. Dahdaleh, I would say he is one of the premiere doctors in his field and I do not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Same as above and he has EXCELLENT bedside manners, which is MOST important to me, prompt, serious but friendly, knowledgeable, promot, not rushing to get me out, makes me feel like I'm an important part if the team. It was an amazing experience. He takes the sting out of the process and makes me comfortable with my decision.
He is a vey patient and kind physician. He listens to you as you explain your symptoms or asks questions. He tries to answer every questions fully and in a way that is easily understood. He approaches your care as a partner not a dictator. I feel part of the decision making team for my care.
Extremely professional, direct and thorough.
The approach is not like my past surgeons, which Is what I respect the most.
My past surgeons would do a MRI, promise to fix me and go right into surgery.
And 2 of the 3 surgeries failed from one surgeon and another double fusion failed from another surgeon.
My visit with Dr Dahdaleh was informative and no promises were made.
I respect that!
Dr., also asked me to be patient with the testing process to find all the problems, and I know alot were caused from the years of failed spine surgeries.
I tried to get an appointment over a year 1/2 ago, but my condition is so bad now compared to then, I'm grateful to be seen by him.
I saw 5 other surgeons this past year, and 2 said I was perfectly fine.
So, Thank you
I am grateful to get answers and solutions as they come, patience I have when I'm in the right care, and I am finally!
I would highly recommend Dr. Dahdaleh and his staff, Lola, for going above and beyond to contact me when my in person appointment was changed due to civil and my cell phone was hacked, Lola didn't stop until she got ahold of me through my emergency contact, my Husband at work just so I didn't make the trip into the city. & Lillian for following up with me after my test results.
He is amazing. After a terrible experience with a NWM neurologist, Dr Dahdaleh took time to actually review my charts and records, he then listened to my symptoms, answered all my questions, etc. If I was unclear about something, instead of making me feel worthless (like the neurologist), he welcomed my questions and made sure I understood everything.
I already have recommended him. My wife and I drive 150 miles each way for our appointments. Is it a pain in the (butt)? Yes, it is. That said, when I get up there, it’s always worth it. Dahdaleh is a class act and he genuinely gives a damn about his patients.
