5.0 star star star star starThe nurse practitioner was comprehensive and genuinely thoughtful throughout the entire visit. She took the time to ask a wide range of targeted, insightful questions_digging into the timeline of my symptoms, what makes them better or worse, any related patterns I'd noticed, and even aspects of my daily life that might be connected. This careful, methodical approach really helped unravel the puzzle of my confusing and puzzling symptoms, leading us toward clearer answers and a solid plan forward. I felt truly heard, valued, and cared for_her attention to detail and compassionate manner made all the difference.

5.0 star star star star starAs I've stated prior, Julie was very down to earth, knowledgeable, and straight to the point! You could tell she really loves what she does, and truly cares for all of her patients. She gave me thorough education based on my diagnosis, discussed medication options, and a recovery care plan moving forward. The best NP I've worked with outside of my PCPs office, hands down! (And we only talked for 10 minutes!) Thank you Julie!

5.0 star star star star starJulie addressed my nausea and pain as soon as she could. She explained everything that would happen (CT Scan, urine testing) very clearly and answered my questions with the same clarity. I felt heard and respected.

5.0 star star star star starJulie was very personable and compassionate. You could tell that she loves what she does and cares about her patience. I felt very special she came in personally to give me my papers. She gave me an ice pack a second one I had been there a bit till the first one had melted. The assistant nurse or the nurse that came in originally asked me if I wanted some water I have never been asked that before that was so kind of her it made a world of difference to me.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
