5.0 star star star star starDoctor Leonard Verhagen Metman and the assisting Fellow took their time to talk with me about my concerns and observed my tremors and body reaction to tests on my arms and legs. They also answered my questions about tests that were completed at Mayo Clinic.

5.0 star star star star starHe is extremely knowledgeable, very caring and friendly. Puts me at ease when I need my injections. He really shows concern about my condition and doesn't treat me like I'm just another patient. And he has a sense of humor.

5.0 star star star star starHis expertise is second to none! Outstanding exam. He included the fellowship candidate in everything. He and she both explained the possible diagnoses. They suggested a few tests to rule out certain conditions. I couldn't have been treated better! Thank you!

5.0 star star star star starHe was very caring by showing concern in addition to my current ailments but about all of my ailments and made recommendations on providers who may be able to help me. Especially doctors who have practices in my area (which is 145 miles away). One of the best doctors I have seen for care!!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
