5.0 star star star star starDr. Verhagen was simply the best. He was thorough, candid, and had a bed side manner most professionals could only dream about. He made my wife and I feel like part of the staff. I apologize for appearing so enamored with the staff, but I guess you had to have been there. It was a pleasure to make their acquaintance.

5.0 star star star star starHe is very focused and interested in helping me live well with Parkinsons. He is very kind and encouraging and detailed in his observation of my movements. I trust him and feel confident in my care with him and his staff and fellows.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Verhagen is very friendly, kind and compassionate. He makes me feel at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable and funny. I have had four prior doctors for my dystonia but Dr. Verhagen is the only one that has ever offered to fit me in for an earlier appointment if I needed one sooner.

5.0 star star star star starI was so pleased to finally get the type of focus and attention to my medical needs. I got all my questions answered, and many good solutions were discussed as far as how to go forward. Who would you recommend this doctor in Northwestern without reservation I have been a lifelong client of Northwestern, beginning with the birth of my son, 30 years ago, and continuing on through my current health journey. I would readily recommend this doctor and Northwestern with enthusiasm

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
