4.0 star star star star star_borderMostly ahe asked me questions about when I first visited after seizures when the last one was etc. Probably should have looked medical history in the northwestern medicine charts. Not really paying attention to me as a patient. Typing while asking questions.

5.0 star star star star starI saw Dr Gutti at another practice. She moved to NM. After several years of poor care, I was thrilled to find Dr Gutti! She is so patient, caring and thorough. She is not overly aggressive and listens to my concerns.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gutti spends a good amount of time with me. She is very thorough in her assessment to better understand my headaches. That has lead to a great improvement in reduction the number of headaches and their intensity.

5.0 star star star star starIf we cannot identify the cause, there are additional steps she has listed that we can pursue. She also reviewed my new meds and made some changes. I think any patient expects ongoing management of their health.

5.0 star star star star starI find Dr. Gutti more than competent, yet compassionate and caring. She's willing to listen and assess, and only then recommend actions. She's willing to give more than answers and weigh the pros and cons of a situation. She explains a difficult subject in language anyone can understand. She's thoughtful of the patient's situation.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderAs this was my first appointment, I had hoped to my care team would introduce themselves. Dr. Gutti said her name as she sanitized her hands but made no eye contact, and instead went straight to the computer where her attention stayed. She was unfamiliar with my history, provided contradictory information, and only approached me to ask me to follow her finger. The whole experience was cold.

5.0 star star star star starShe was thorough, did not rush me, and reassured me that she would figure out what was happening and initiate a POC to help me. She was so compassionate and apologized that I have not been taken more seriously sooner. Dr. Gutti is a fantastic neurologist and made me feel so heard. I cannot say enough good things about how wonderful she is and how she turned my negative initial experience with NM neurology into a great one.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
