Where do I begin?, she is professional, extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and very easy to talk to. I’m very comfortable with her. She takes her time to clearly explain everything. She sincerely listens to my concerns. To sum it all up she’s a great doctor.

I would not recommend. The wait was close to 30min and the visit was less than 5min. The reason for my visit was to check on the 20 stitches I received from a bike crash. I felt like she was very rushed and barely did a check. I felt like my last physician really took the time to make sure I was attended to and it was very calm and thorough. I would have thought for my first visit, it would have been more comprehensive.

All of my questions are answered based on lab results, latest available data on a particular desease, manufacturers recommendations etc. but I feel a disconnect on how it affects me personally and I how I can take this information to prevent the progression of the disease. An annual physical exam or a follow up visit are perform the same. I continue to use the ED for referrals about my concerns.

She wouldn’t let me get my testosterone levels checked. She said she wouldn’t order it unless I had symptoms which is fair but I told her getting my levels checked yearly was important to me and she still refused. This was a little annoying because my previous doctor understood how important it was to me and ordered it for me during my annual check up. I had a much better relationship with my previous doctor and felt heard. DR. de Leon seemed to not really care about me as an individual. What I’m also confused about was why she refused to order it for me. I was willing to pay and it’s not like she’s actually the one drawing my blood work. Instead now I have to set up another appointment again with another doctor recommended by her just to simply get blood drawn. I personally don’t think anything is wrong with my testosterone but as a male I’d like to know what my levels are annually given how important of a hormone it is.
