5.0 star star star star starDr. Gonzalez Latapi is by far the best neurologist I’ve seen in my last 3 years of care. She listens to all my health concerns and gets me the care I need. She is a doctor who is mindful, professional, caring, and comforting. I can’t stop telling every how awesome my Neurologist is!

5.0 star star star star starVery caring, could understand my concerns, and observed my tremors long enough to determine they needed to be addressed. Explained it was not a condition related to Parkinson's and put me on a low dosage of a medication which hopefully will help. Also understood that I did not want to pay extra for the medication by going to the wrong pharmacy.

4.0 star star star star star_borderShe was interested in my concerns, gave me thorough answers to my questions, made a referral on my behalf to another department for an area of concern that I had, & spent a significant amount of time with me for an initial visit. She was friendly & easy to talk with.

4.0 star star star star star_borderDoctor Latapi Listened to me and that is very rare now a days in a Doctor. She showed care and compassion to me. And she wasn't afraid to touch me to examine me. Most doctors today don't examine their patients. I don't understand that?

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
