5.0 star star star star starDr. Gonzalez-Latapi assessed my situation, advised me who to refer to in the future, expectations in my future, and guided me through medical record risks between departments and employment. She did a physical exam and issued comments, and asked for feedback on my medications.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gonzalez-Latapi entered the room with a minimal wait time. She was patient in listening to my story, and very polite with us. Dr. Gonzalez-Latapi demonstrated that she had done heaps of work ahead of time with her knowledge of the possible illnesses, my treatment options, my medications, the possible risks, my case history, and what the future could look like for me. She had plenty of good advice, had great collaborative plans on my future, and was very thorough, demonstrated by the amount of time she spent with me.

5.0 star star star star starOMG, where do I start. I came from a hospital that did not listen to my concerns regarding my body and what I was experiencing and I was told by them " I had to live with it and deal with it" Dr. Gonzalez Latapi proved to me that i was right and she apologized to me for what i have been going thru since 2016 with the old hospital. i am so blessed to have her as my new doctor!

5.0 star star star star starI was very impressed with the doctor and the steps taken to diagnose my condition in a relatively short time. She asked if I or my niece who accompanied me had any questions after each point she covered. My niece who is in the medical field was equally impressed with the doctor. I look forward to working with her.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
