5.0 star star star star starI cant tell you how nervous i was going into this appointment. It is a new office, staff and doctor for me as i had to transfer care. On top of having a male doctor for this visit when i am used to females for gynecology. My anxiety was high. He was very welcoming, professional, explained things in a way i could understand. He made me feel comfortable. By the end of the appointment my anxiety was gone.

5.0 star star star star starExtremely thorough in understanding my symptoms and experiences and then outlining my options. Took time to answer all my questions. Additionally, my post-op recovery was so smooth, and I believe this was in large part due to his excellent surgical skill.

5.0 star star star star starTypically, women may have reservations seeing a male OB GYN, but Dr. Song is patient, calm, and thorough and has a way to immediately make you feel comfortable with him. I appreciate the extra attention he takes to understand the situation and ensures he has all the possible details and data he can collect as he’s making a diagnosis and plan.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
