5.0 star star star star starErik takes his time with me. He discusses options and clearly expresses his clinical opinions. When he is giving an injection or completing any other procedure, he communicates each step and is concerned with your comfort. He's awesome.

5.0 star star star star starErik took his time to explain everything that happened to me in detail regarding my work injury and in detail what happened to me , also recommended a ankle/ foot dr. For fused ankle on lft side regarding my circulation. Great Bedside manner, honest, didn't sugar coat. My recovery time told being. It's going to be a long recovery and painful. But with the right rehab, I will get better in time. I give him a 10 rating because he was honest and concerned about my health and recovery, highly recommend Erik

5.0 star star star star starBesides is very friendly manner, I felt very listened to throughout the appointment. Many times doctors try to hypothesize a diagnosis first without listening to the patient, but Dr. Rodriguez listened to everything, but I have to say before giving his assessment and having an open dialogue with me about what that was, what that means for my health, etc.

5.0 star star star star starErik has helped me recently on knee pain. He was accommodating to get me in quickly for appointment. Having terrible knee pain, difficulty walking. Erik took his time to listen to what I had to say and then made his recommendations for my care. Called back quickly when I had questions and made me feel very comfortable thru out the process. Continuing to work with him on my care

5.0 star star star star starHe has twice given me 2 knee injections with virtually no pain. I am no longer reluctant to get these injections if Erik is my person. He is also very kind and friendly while still being professional. Perfect combination.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
