5.0 star star star star starXavier the tech was absolutely amazing..Dr. Boyd came into the room and performed amazing bedside care. Sat at the patient's level, explained things in a way that my 12 year old son would understand. DX..staph infection. Glad there were people at the facility that understand the seriousness and treated the patient.

5.0 star star star star starDr Boyd took his time - was thoughtful - answered questions - really good. Your front desk people need to learn the old "Patients First" philosophy and fast. Who supervises them? Why does your web site not reflect what they tell you when you get there. If I had been seen the first time at Vernon Hills, it may not have been as bad. Then to go to Lake Bluff the following evening and told I couldn't be seen when there were NO OTHER patients was absurd. Thankfully I waited and was seen, but the stupidity of it all is I could have been seen 30 minutes prior and the patient who was late for their appointment would have been seen at the time he actually arrived then no one would have had to stay after 7:30 Let's use our brains!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Boyd was very nice and thorough during my visit. My total time in the doors to leaving was less than 1 hour and Dr. Boyd took plenty of time to review everything with me and I didn't feel rushed.

5.0 star star star star starVery thorough. He listened to all my concerns without rushing me. He took time and made me feel heard and important. I've never had such a wonderful Dr before especially in an immediate care center. I was impressed with his bedside manner and wish he had his own practice. He's definitely a keeper.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
