Always treated respectfully and feel well taken care of. They always answer my questions or put my fears to rest. I feel very seen and heard by my team. She takes time and care with me every time I see her. It can be a hard field to be a part of but Michelle seems to really love what she does,

See the above answer. Now on to the questionnaire I sent several weeks ago. I wrote a very long complementary letter regarding a number of the staff. I requested those comments be forwarded to the persons singled out because they deserved the recognition for their good work. I'm a firm believer and have tried to practice giving praise to people when they did things well because they sure heard about it when they made a mistake. Kimberly and Tony received their notes and were pleased that someone had taken the time to send a letter complementing them on their efforts. They appreciated the recognition. However, Liz RN and Jackie RN in the chemo unit did NOT get their notes. Would you please track down the person who handled that letter and ask them to complete the task at hand. I itemized specific things the nurses did and would like them included in the note. I know good nursing care when I see it...I taught it for years. I will be checking that this was done on my next visit. Thank you, [Patient's Name]

She is great - knowledgeable, encouraging, thoughtful, experienced and unflappable. The only reason I didn't rate 10 is because sometimes she is rushed - but I don't think that is her fault!

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
