I've previously written reviews for Dr. Nilsen and am so happy she joined the practice! My husband and I both love her bedside manner and her personality really helps put me at ease. As an anxious patient, I truly appreciate the time she takes to thoroughly explain everything and address any questions. She seems genuinely interested and excited to be involved in our delivery, which helps me feel more excited too_something I never thought I'd say after a traumatic first birth!

Dr. Nilsen was THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Requesting to change my primary doctor to her as she has been the doctor at facility to address my needs and BEYOND in one single visit! She made my husband and I aware of all our upcoming steps and answered our questions with such knowledge and understanding of the process that I will be signing up for her care with my future children. She made us feel comfortable, confident, and ready for our baby to come. Absolutely the best. THANK YOU DR. NILSEN!!!!!

cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Nilsen. She has been with us through some of the most important moments of our lives _ delivering our baby and later performing my hysterectomy _ and her care has been nothing short of extraordinary. She has an incredible bedside manner: calm, compassionate, and deeply attentive. She listens without judgment, explains everything clearly, and makes you feel truly supported every step of the way. I always felt safe in her hands, both medically and emotionally. Her kindness, skill, and genuine care made all the difference during some very overwhelming times. We are so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone searching for a doctor who is not only brilliant but also truly human in the way she cares for her patients.

I was really nervous to see a new gyne because of medical and childhood trauma. Dr. Nilsen made me feel so comfortable and seen. She is truly meant to be a doctor because she is compassionate. She asked follow up questions to make sure I was safe, and makes me happy that I know she is doing the same for other people who are in similar circumstances. She is an angel of a doctor.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Nilsen. I went to her for a second opinion, and she performed a surgery that my previous doctor had said wasn't possible. She has the best bedside manners, very attentive, very intelligent and explains everything thoroughly. Everything leading up to my surgery went smoothly and I was so at ease because of her. I'm forever grateful to her!

We were scheduled with Dr. Nilsen because my primary (Dr. [last name]) wasn't available. I'm always nervous to meet a new provider after some bad experiences at other practices in the past, but was so pleasantly surprised with Dr. Nilsen! Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately helped me feel at ease. She was very easy to talk to and it was so encouraging to see how genuinely excited she seemed to be involved with a new pregnancy. I loved her ability to do bedside ultrasound on a phone, how cool! I'm looking forward to our anatomy scan with her!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr.Nilsen, this is my first pregnancy and throughout my pregnancy she has been so open, kind, and positive. I absolutely love her energy and personality she always makes me feel comfortable, welcomed, and truly cared for at every visit. Dr. Nilsen is awesome, she is very thorough and I feel she shows great compassion for her patients. I met her early on one of my prenatql appointments and it was one of my most memorable appointments, she was nice, answered all my questions, assured me baby was doing great and we heard the babies heart beat on the doppler machine and saw baby on a small portable ultrasound machine. I just had an appointment for my 32 week visit to with her and had some bleeding the day before my appointment, she did many tests and it was very comforting to see her doing all this to make sure the baby and I are safe. I left feeling better and hopeful my pregnancy is going well after getting great results on my tests.

I appreciate everything Dr. Nielsen has helped throughout my pregnancy journey. Her professionalism is matched by genuine compassion _ she uploaded test results quickly and answered my non-urgent questions thoroughly through each stage with clarity and warmth. When I had unexpected results in NIPT exam, she managed my expectation in a straightforward way while offering sound medical advice. Dr. A. Nilsen is lovely! She saw me in the hospital post delivery on the mother-baby unit at Prentice hospital. She has wonderful bedside manner, thorough in her evaluation, and provided great guidance for post delivery care at home. She was not rushed at all and made me feel very comfortable. I also saw Dr. Nilsen in the office for an evaluation. She was very thorough in her examination, extremely kind, generous with her time, and helped me feel reassured.
