Dr. Dethmers was so nice and friendly and helpful. She explained a lot of things to me, heard me out, made notes on my profile, and offered to get me all my vaccinations. I was scared to get a pap smear. Going to northwestern already gives me some ease that there are great doctors to care for me, but Dr. Dethmers made me really comfortable and told me what was going on every step of the way. She was quick, steady, and knew to make conversation to distract me. She was great :) im glad she was my obgyn and im happy I get to see her again in the future.

I would absolutely recommend Tara because of the compassionate care she provided throughout our delivery experience. From the moment we met her, she made us feel supported, heard, and genuinely cared for. Her calm presence and expertise brought so much peace during a time that can feel overwhelming. Our family is incredibly grateful for the way she cared for us_not just clinically, but emotionally as well. Tara went above and beyond, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better provider during such a special and vulnerable time.

I felt so safe to be vulnerable around her. She informed me that it was important for me to meet all the other midwives because she may not be the one to deliver my baby but my husband and I loved her so much that we're hoping that she will be the one.
