I explained to this provider how the notes from my previous session (with my old provider) being focused on weight loss when we hadn't discussed weight loss in my appointment had negatively impacted my eating habits and made me avoid seeking medical attention. Dr. Patel showed me her note before I left and added a comment to my chart that other providers shouldn't leave weight centric comments in my exit summaries. I feel much more comfortable coming back to NW medicine.
