5.0 star star star star starI feel Dr Ruderman is honest, highly knowledgable and respectful. He is updated on newest treatments. He listens. He corrects misinformation and teaches you so you know more correct information after speaking with him (even if you are a patient who does a lot of research). He goes the extra mile for you if he believes you to get you the treatment you feel you need and lets you know if it is not right. It feels good to bounce information off him because he puts it all in perspective in easy to understand manner. This all makes him a very valuable and trustworthy partner in care

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ruderman was extremely knowledgeable, respectful & great with his one-on-one consultation for a second opinion diagnosis. He had reviewed all of my medical charts, asked a lot of detailed questions & gave me the floor to ask my own questions.

5.0 star star star star starDr Ruderman thoroughly reviewed my diseases history with me and completed a physical exam. I was very impressed on how he took into account the effect of these diseases on my other existing diseases. He is very knowledgeable and up to date on the best treatment methods for my diseases. He provided clear explanations and practical / realistic advice on a treatment plan. I greatly appreciated his candor concerning the current inability to stop my diseases progression. He was very professional, caring and kind. He offered to continue to see me if my disease's continue to worsen. To prepare for my consultation, I worked with his staff to ensure that he received the correct information. They also were very efficient and pleasant to interact with. His medical assistant that did my visit prep was again very efficient, pleasant, caring and thorough.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
