5.0 star star star star starDr. Zirlin impressed me with her competency, caring and communication skills. She re-dressed an infected surgical wound and recommended that I go to the E.R. her clear explanation of my problem and the care I would likely require was persuasive.

5.0 star star star star starexcellent MD. The Dr (Marcy Zirlin ) had read my chart and was familiar with everything relevent to me. Efficient, took time to discuss my personal history and then gave me options for my car. Liked dealing with her very much

5.0 star star star star starShe spent time with me and listen to my symptoms and the details leading up to that she was also very considerate of the fact that my husband had a bad cold and was giving it to me so she was able to provide information before I left as far as what to expect and how to manage it

5.0 star star star star starAn excellent doctor _ Northwestern is lucky to have her. I was concerned about a possible infection, and she was like a light switch in a dark room: instantly reassuring. You just feel better in her care. The same goes for Natalie Zimmer _ both are truly impressive. I will donate to nurses week again because of them. You should share this with them.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
