5.0 star star star star starI have expressed my delight to others on several occasions when asked and they have realized how pleased I am with the care I receive. In fact most have said they realize now what they are missing in their personal medical providers, and have expressed jealously when they compare to their providers.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Clyde Yancy is the best in his field of medicine. But, this is in my opinion. I have been a patient with Northwestern Memorial Hospital (since I was 12 years old), with my father, Julian D. Bennett, who was a Retired Military Veteran Dr. Clyde Yancy is compassionate. He actually cares for the health of his patients. He is very mature and humble in his profession. He is not an elitist, nor is he ego driven, and an arrogant physician. He teaches and educates the incoming Northwestern Memorial Hospital Resident Doctors in this very tenuous field of medicine. He is patient centered.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Yancy is a very kind, caring, intelligent and trustworthy doctor. He explains the diagnosis and treatments options clearly. Dr. Yancy follows-up with my results from the echocardiogram and blood tests to make sure I am improving with my heart disease. I am so happy I have him as my doctor. I do not know what I would do without him.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Yancy is a remarkable medical doctor, a very kind person, and compassionate human being. His knowledge and skills are unmatched in my opinion. He was an amazing doctor while I was under his care for years. He always gave me a safe space to express my concerns and needs about my health; and constantly found the best ways to treat my health problems and improve my quality of life. I will miss him very much. Northwestern needs to make sure they are giving Dr. Yancy everything he wants and needs to continue rendering exceptional medical treatment to his patients; while providing exemplary leadership and support to his team of subordinates and peers.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
