5.0 star star star star starI was paired with Dr. Tout somewhat randomly after my previous PCP left NW, and I couldn't be happier. I feel so well taken care of, heard, and understood. He is an amazing provider and all around cool dude.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Tout exceeded my expectations. He took the time to read my history in advance of meeting and came to our introduction well informed. I felt he genuinely cared and was committed to supporting me. I've been on a long road of of symptoms with newer diagnosis under the care of many specialists and have had poor experiences in the past. Dr. Tout was a breath of fresh air.

5.0 star star star star starDr Tout was/is a good listener, spot-on regarding diagnosis and treatment, patient focused, and very friendly. Put me at ease, and that is not easy. Made me feel heard and also comfortable that he'd comprehensively manage my care going forward.

5.0 star star star star starDr Tout works collaboratively with me. I'm a senior so I remember when doctors didn't take this approach. He takes all my questions seriously. He exudes an air of calm and confidence without seeming too serious.

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first time meeting Dr. Tout and I was very pleased. He was very familiar with my medical history and thoughtful in approaching new issues. He explained things clearly and was interested in getting to know me as a person. I appreciated his thoroughness and the time he took with me. I am glad that he is my doctor.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
