5.0 star star star star starDr. S Ahmed is wonderful and took great care in explaining how to improve my health. Asking my reasons for lacking exercise. And my excuses sounded pretty silly to me when I was trying to explain to him. I think he has given me the push I needed to take more control of my health.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderThe wait is extremely long every single visit. Dr. Ahmad wants you to come back monthly just to provide no answers as to what could physically be wrong. I am so frustrated after my visit today, that I will be switching doctors. He does not listen to my concerns. I am dismissed every single visit and coming back monthly is just ridiculous to not provide any solutions. I literally feel like he wants me back every month just to get money from my insurance, because he surely isn't helpful.

4.0 star star star star star_borderDr. Ahmad is great but see my reply above about allowing so many Pts to be added onto his schedule. Appt times are already limited and having him run an hour behind then be rushed because there are still Pts waiting is not good practice.

5.0 star star star star starDr Ahmad is wonderful for so many reasons. He is kind and caring. He doesn’t rush. He explains things so I understand them. He orders more test if he feels they are needed. and I truly feel he care about his patients health. He listens, and also he is considerate about my modesty. Which is important to me.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ahmad is the best physician in my experience. He is very thorough! He takes the time to review prior lab results and make positive comparisons, as well as, address concerns and questions. A very kind man as well!!

4.0 star star star star star_borderVery personable. But too in and out. Have heard that a new Dr that is there is a lot more proactive in tests that could be beneficial. A random chest X-ray for plaque in heart showed that a relative had a mass ( thymoma) that had to be taken out immediately.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
