5.0 star star star star starI felt like I was treated as a person and not just another patient chart. Dr. de Freitas explained everything in great detail and made sure I understood why certain tests and labs were being ordered. I came to MN Cardiology after a bad experience with another practice and an glad that I did.

5.0 star star star star starWhere do I start?! I have never been in awe of a doctor before, until yesterday. He was professional, asked me multiple questions, took his time and asked various times if i had any questions. I even got home to tell my husband about how professional he was. I have worked and still work with doctors (different hospital) and have never met anyone like Dr. Roger Andrew De Freitas. He explained my situation where I could actually understand what he was explaining. I will definitely be recommending him to anyone who needs a cardiologist. You have a treasure on your hands Northwestern.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
