5.0 star star star star starHe's a very nice doctor but sometimes it seems like he's reading from a script. But he does give a lot of information but be yourself. And then he seems to use a lot of doctor words sometimes not sure what some of means

5.0 star star star star starDr Macek is the best! He explains his recommendations and talks through options with patients. I have always felt heard by him, which can be hard to find in a doctor. He takes his time, but I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes or so for him to start the appointment. You can tell he really cares about his patients and their health.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Macek is amazing. He doesn't ever rush through my appointments and I love that he is very detailed. I wish I met him and his team when I had my baby in 2023. Having a high-risk pregnancy is very scary and something that you never prepare for. However, having Dr. Macek's support means a lot to me. Not once did he ever make me feel bad about continuing my pregnancy despite the diagnosis. He is a true doctor at heart.

5.0 star star star star starAgain, Dr. Macek is educated and compassionate. Dr. Macek was on point when in came to listening about my family history and his recommendations for my care. I am convinced his office saved my life and I get tears in my eyes every time I think about it. I credit Dr. Macek for listening and paying attention and working with the entire Northwestern team and looking me as individual person while addressing some of my textbook family history issues. Thank you so much Dr. Macek.

5.0 star star star star starDr Macek is very informative and sweet. He first in the room and told me congratulations on my pregnancy with a huge smile, so that made me feel comfortable and welcome because I usually do not like to be seen by male doctors. He was extremely nice and let me know a lot of key things I needed to know. I would recommend him to anyone.

5.0 star star star star starHe was wonderful! I was a little nervous about having a male OBGYN, but he went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable with everything he was doing! He also seemed to really care about who I was as a person first and foremost and was one of the kinder doctors that I have ever had, and it didn't seem fake! Overall, fantastic experience!

5.0 star star star star starDr Macek is a well-rounded doctor who not evaluates as an OB/GYN but also as a wholistic practitioner. He found problems and solutions that evaded my PCP. He also took the time I needed to feel comfortable. He found a mistake maker by my doctors 10 years ago and put me on medicine to fix it. It's been a week and I feel better than I've felt in 20 years. I highly recommend Dr. Macek!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Macek made my year. Besides being well-experienced, he is one of the most compassionate healthcare professionals I've ever met. The best examples of this, from my visit, are the trans-informed terms he automatically used with me to describe my body and its functions. I've never met a doctor who uses these terms and I've never felt confident enough to advocate for them before myself _ he just immediately knew to use them. He exemplified not only the basic earmarks of being a trans-informed doctor, but the kind of doctor who truly listens and pays attention to his patients. It's a devotion to creating a trusting and safe medical space for which I am endlessly grateful. I avoided seeing a gynecologist for years _ not anymore.

5.0 star star star star starExcellent Doctor!!! I can say one of the best that I have visited so far. His compassion, professionalism, patience, and above all his overall ability to look at every aspect of my concern and come up with a health plan to get me back on track. I am so fortunate to now be a part of this group.

5.0 star star star star starHe is always personable and puts me at ease. I appreciate his approach to relating to women saying recommendations he would give his own wife. I'm not a fan of most male OBs, but Dr. Macek is the exception.
