My post-op visit with Dr. Wassink was great. He answered all my questions and clearly explained the next steps. Transitioning from a splint to a cast was painful, but Dr. Wassink's sense of humor helped keep me smiling through it.

brett is the best he has helped me go through so many things recently and challenges, I got attacked a couple days ago and I've had a difficult time, especially dealing with pain, emotionally and physically. He has been so supportive and sensitive, and I cannot say how thankful I am and grateful for everyone that has helped me go through this.

brett is wonderful, he is very caring and concerned for my best. Anytime I'm worried or scared about procedures or anything that has to do with my feet, he's very reassuring and tries to make me feel comfortable, especially when I had an infection on my foot and hurt it the other day. I was so nervous about getting my stitches and pins out. And he made me feel at ease..

The PA spent ample time with us. He explained everything to my husband and I in a way we totally understood our options and my diagnosis. He explained the surgery that could possibly happen in the future step by step so I could understand. I left with a print out of insoles I should purchase. Both will help me to walk pain free and without surgery! That is huge. (My foot was misdiagnosed be a doctor in NW Indiana and then it healed wrong). I would give this PA 100 percent. I am so, so glad I went to this hospital and PA. The visit ran totally on time. I truly felt the whole experience ran like a well oiled machine. Thank you!
