5.0 star star star star starHe came across as a really great individual and I would trust him to operate. I did not choose him because another surgeon had already operated on me twice and I feel I should stay with surgeon who has been successful in past. I would recommend Dr Magill to others needing brain surgery.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Magill shows interest and concern for his patients. He is very qualified and makes sure the patient understands the picture on the disk. He is not in a rush to be done and he does not dismiss questions at all. I have respect for NM for taking on the best doctors with a calm and pleasant demeanor as well.

5.0 star star star star starDr Magill was brilliant! He went through my case step by step, and asked pertinent questions and let me speak about how I was experiencing my symptoms. He went through my MRI slides and explained them. He discussed treatment options and his recommendation and discussed risks of each option. He was kind and patient and caring. Clearly a top doctor and I am grateful he will be doing my brain tumor surgery.

5.0 star star star star starHe was very calm and thorough, explaining what was going on in there and what our options are. I feel confident moving ahead with Dr. Magill as my neurosurgeon and am a lot less fearful of what comes next. His RN is amazingly sweet as well - I feel like I will absolutely be taken care of by their team in the weeks and months to come.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
