5.0 star star star star starHe is wonderful. I haven't had a Dr I felt cared as much as he in a very, very long time. His staff is amazing to. Everyone I came in contact in his offices as well as the hospital staff sing his praises. I'm grateful the good Lord gave him the knowledge and skills he did. I've been very fortunate to have had him cross my path.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Magill knowledgeably, professionally and gently hand-walked me through my initial consult, through many conversations via the portal and phone, then through my procedure and aftercare so thoroughly and so reassuringly. Thank you again beyond all measure!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Magill is an exceptional neurosurgeon. From my very first visit, he was patient, compassionate, and truly listened to me- even when some of my symptoms were nontraditional. Instead of dismissing my concerns, he pursued additional testing, which ultimately led to a diagnosis and the surgery I needed. While I'm only a week and a half out from surgery and still recovering, I am incredibly thankful for Dr. Magill and his team. They are wonderful medical professionals who set the bar exceptionally high for the kind of care every patient deserves. Thank you, Dr. Magill and staff, for all that you do. I am personally so grateful.

5.0 star star star star starWhen I was told I needed to see a Neurosurgeon, I wanted to see the best Doctor I could find. I wanted to stay within the Northwestern System, so I did my research looking up their bios online. I of course, checked where the Doctor went to Medical School, as well as did his Residency. Most importantly, I wanted to see a Doctor who had a focused interest in my medical issue. All that investigation led me straight to Dr. McGill. I can only say that he proved to be everything I had expected him to be, and more. I have full faith and trust in him as my Physician. He gets a 10+.

5.0 star star star star starDifficult to explain this in such a short area, but I will try. Dr Magill I always make you feel like he's his most important patient of the day. He listens, he's well aware of your entire profile and has researched all of the medical records. While this might sound like a basic thing to you, I can tell you because unfortunately, I've had to be with a lot of different medical people over the last couple years and I can't tell you how many times i've traveled to other states just to meet with a specialist and they know nothing about my records even though they were sent months in advance. He asked great questions and cares about my quality of life. He brings so much to the table I would go to no one else. It takes a long time for me to trust anyone and with Dr. McGill it was almost instantaneous.

5.0 star star star star starI was seeing a different provider at Northwestern, which I was not satisfied with. I switched to Dr. Magill, and it was the absolute best decision ever! He was caring, did not rush, provided an examination (which the previous provider did not), and provided all options available to me regarding my tumor. We decided on removal, and I am 100% satisfied on the whole experience with Dr. Magill.

5.0 star star star star starI am alive because of Dr. Magill. He is incredibly knowledgeable, answers my questions in a way I can understand (!) and actually seems to care about me as a person. I don't feel as if I am simply a case number.

5.0 star star star star starMedical students should have witnessed Dr Magill's review of this case. He took the time to explain the neurological issues. That ability to connect in a doctor-patient relationship is the very first cure. The best medical professionals must be good communicators with all types of patients. Doctors see patients who Google their diseases, which can increase anxiety. Medical students should follow Dr Magill so they learn because that first relationship is crucial
