5.0 star star star star starThis was my Transfer of Care appointment today. So I was meeting her and she me for the first time. I felt seen and heard. She is warm in character and has great "bedside" manners, so to say. I was nervous beforehand because I really liked my previous doctor, but Dr. Laurel Gower Wolf put me at ease with her wonderful demeanor.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI'm early in my medical relationship with Dr. Wolf however, my encounters have been productive and enlightening. The best way to describe it is that she Listens! Dr. Wolf engages me in her thought processes for treating me that embrace professionalism in its core. I believe that she's a good associate in Dr. [last name]'s department.

5.0 star star star star starShe was understanding, helpful, empathic, knowledgeable and gave more than adequate time to listen to my concerns, which is critical. It took me a while to get over the loss of the abrupt and questionable end at NW of my wonderful physician Marina Arvinitis with drs that were not providing the level of care and kindness she did. Subsequent physicians were unsatisfactory. I am happy I connected with Dr. Wolf.

4.0 star star star star star_borderShe seems effective as a doctor. I've only been to her once so I can't give a higher score than 8. However, I do like the fact that she takes the time to talk with you about any concerns you may have.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Wolf was unbelievable nice. She actually sat down and talked to me face to face. Listened to all my concerns and found solutions. I did not feel like just an MRN number. I felt like he was a friend

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
