5.0 star star star star starI really like Dr. Sandhu. He is very warm and reassuring. He is direct and clear. Any questions I had were answered to my satisfaction. Also I trust his ability as a surgeon. My incision is healing very well. I attribute that to Dr. Sandhu’s ability.

5.0 star star star star starIs there a rating higher than 10! My bypass was not a scheduled procedure, but rather the result of a series of unexpected tests that revealed a dangerous blockage. Dr. Sandhu’s confidence that he could fix my heart was so reassuring. And he did!

5.0 star star star star starBesides imparting a good mood towards his patients. He appears to be of the age for a Doctor who has done many of these heart procedures. In other words he has a lot of experience and good judgement goes hand in hand with experience. He is not on a steep learning curve.

5.0 star star star star starDr Sandu reassured me from the moment he met with me at the bedside. I had been mentally beating myself up about what I might have or had not done to cause my heart issue. The first words from Dr Sandy was “I think I need to let you know that you did nothing to cause thisâ€. The second reassuring things he told me was that I had only 2% risk from the surgery. I knew it was in great hands with Fr Sandy and his team.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
