Finally after over 60 years, I received a thorough and easy to understand explanation of the cause and effect of my misaligned eyes. I hadn't even heard the term misaligned before. Dr Baim is a Godsend! He patiently analyzed my eyes, answered all my questions and explained a plan of action that made total sense to me. Dr Baim was prompt and personable without wasting my time. I felt really good after this appointment.

Dr. Baim and Maya have both been incredible to work with over the last year. I came to him to fix issues created by surgery at a different facility. He is very thorough in testing, explaining, and referring. He took the time needed to discuss vision problems as well as other issues that are connected to the vision loss. He referred specialists for two other problems that showed up in the MRI scans. Many doctors only look at patients through a very narrow lens and show no concern for anything that does not relate directly to their area of expertise. Dr. Baim seems to be able to look at the broader picture; to discuss options, and refer other specialists.

Dr. Baim was very friendly and respectful and explained everything thoroughly to me. He listened carefully and asked me a lot of questions and did thorough testing. He also provided clear follow up instructions. He and the other doctor who was shadowing were both very considerate and kept the lights low in the exam room since I had a headache. Dr Bain is what one imagines as the ideal doctor: professional, patient, trustworthy, able to explain things in understandable but not dumbed down language. He's very understanding that a procedure such as the one I had (strabismus) can be daunting and may take time for the patient to decide. He was always available to answer questions and concerns. I never felt rushed during our appointments. I knew I was in excellent hands. And indeed I was. I had the surgery 3 weeks ago. Everything went smoothly and I couldn't be happier.
