5.0 star star star star starVery simply, Ryan took the time to talk to me not so much as a patient, but as a person and explaining and diagnosing my symptoms with my nasal problem. He came up with a plan and now it’s time to execute that to see if it solves may issue.

5.0 star star star star starHe was professional, friendly, and did not try to make more of the appointment that was needed. I particularly appreciated that he looked at my file before coming into the exam room and knew why I was there for the appointment, how Dr Scianna has been treating me, and how often I’ve been following up!

5.0 star star star star starThe NP was through and patient. He first listened carefully to my concerns and then thoroughly explained everything he was planning to do. He was very gentle and caring and asked throughout the appointment if I had questions.

5.0 star star star star starRyan was very professional and listened to my concerns and explained everything he was doing. I was reluctant to schedule an appointment with the NP since Dr. Scianna was not available, but I was very happy with my service he provided.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
