He was excellent. This is the first time any of my providers explained all the test results very helpful to have the lung cat scan explained and also the ventilation perfusion study. A really good teacher. Guess that happens at an academic medical. Enter!

He was very personable and easy to talk to. Gave information I had never gotten before. Since I live in Indiana I was very pleased that he is willing to communicate with my doctor at home which my previous doctor didn’t always do. His honesty was very refreshing. There were a couple things I asked him and he told me he would talk to someone that handles that area rather than give me an answer that wasn’t fully correct. He’s a doctor and he’s also human and can’t know everything.

I lead a PH support group &he has spoken to us numerous times. If anyone in the group has questions if it. If any of the group has questions about anything to do with pulmonary hypertension, he knows the answers. My group loves listening to him! Very smart man.

Dr. Cuttica amazes me with his depth of knowledge and willingness to explain. He doesn't rush me, AND he listens well. He is willing to tackle the sensitive subjects (like my weight) without judging or shaming me. He and Brenda are a really good team. When he says she's going to contact me, she does. And she is always very pleasant and patient.

Dr. Cuttica is the epitome of what we look for in our never ending search for a top doctor to assist us in identifying issues and treatment options. He’s like a needle in a haystack. I had such a wonderful experience with him today. He was extremely through yet efficient. Given expertise, patience and extensive research in the area, he’s the type of physician that other physicians would go to for their care and send their loved ones to as well. I left there confident in his analysis of my situation and feel blessed to have been able to have heard it from the best in the industry.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
