5.0 star star star star starMatt was very present to me, listened well and was patient with my questions... I was very grateful to hear that Matt had looked at all of my MRI, XRAYS, Spine tests, etc.. Comforting to know he was familiar with my history and my needs. Matt not only shared his suggestions for PT, but why... I found that very helpful. Matt was encouraging, understanding and caring. I felt I could trust Matt, and that is important. I hope I can continue with him.

5.0 star star star star starI had the pleasure of being under the care of Matt Tan for physical therapy for my knee, and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations. Matt possesses an exceptional level of expertise in his field. He took time to thoroughly assess my condition, listening attentively to my concerns and goals for recovery. He tailored each session to address my specific needs and limitations. Every intervention was meticulously crafted to promote healing and improve functionality. I cannot speak highly enough of Matt Tan and recommend him to anyone in need of exceptional physical therapy services.

5.0 star star star star starI have logged regular and repeated positive feedback about the high quality of care I have received from Matthew. Since this was my last session in the course of treatments I will summarize my positive feedback. Matthew worked with me at the start to assess my goals for treatment, both interim and long term. We discussed how treatment and exercise choices would help me achieve my positive outcome. Matthew asked at every session about how I felt, and more importantly he listened to my response and made appropriate changes, if needed, to that session. Matthew explained the “why†for the different exercises. This sharing of information made it easier for me to understand and “buy in†to individual sessions and the long term plan. Each session included feedback. That feedback was two way, so I felt I was an active partner in the course of treatment, not just a recipient. We regularly reviewed my progress towards my goals and made appropriate adjustments to the overall course of treatment to keep me on track and moving forward. We always had our sight on the end point of the course of treatment. We began a more comprehensive focus on wrapping up my “in house†treatments and developing an “at home†maintenance program more than 4 weeks before the end of my scheduled appointments. That included me starting the “at home†plan in advance to make sure I understood and could perform those exercises with proper form and purpose. On a personal level, Matthew’s manner is both professional and affable. He is easy to talk to even while eliciting information. And, he still got me to extend my physical exertion during the exercises. He struck an appropriate balance between encouragement and pressing me to give just “a bit more†during our sessions. After all it’s going “a bit more†is where the progress occurs in the healing process.

5.0 star star star star starGreat listener throughout my entire process. We discussed long term goals at the start and continue to assess and work towards those benchmarks. He also listens at the start of every session to make any adjustments needed because of day to day issues affecting my ability to do the exercises. He modifies the individual sessions to accommodate my condition at that time but always with the long term goal and successful in mind. This all happens because of his professional manner and open communication
