5.0 star star star star starDr. Pick is the number one reason, but I have also found the diabetes prevention program to be helpful with Wendy and Monica(I think that’s the name of the newer dietitian to the program) being helpful.

5.0 star star star star starOMG--I wish I'd asked whether I could record our time together! The man is a font of knowledge. He gave me so much useful information so quickly that I'm still unpacking it all in my mind. He was straightforward with me, and honest (which I like), but he also handed me into the care of one of his Fellows to get a practical plan in place to move me towards a more functional lifestyle. For the first time in a long while, I'm actually feeling a optimistic that I might be able to improve my current physical state.

5.0 star star star star starHe reviewed my medical history and charts prior to the visit. While I’m confident he took the time to get to know me and validate his plan based on my circumstances, the visit was incredibly structured and thoughtful during our short time together. I received answers and a treatment plan I needed.

5.0 star star star star starListens, smart, and effective. While deeply knowledgeable in his own area of expertise, he also has - and utilizes - broader medical knowledge as to not think too myopically about a problem or solution.

He is a great listener who cares about the multifaceted challenges that I’m facing. He is very efficient, on time, and immediately takes care of the necessary next steps I need: for medicine, bloodwork, dietitian, and connecting me to other professionals. I loved that so many of these aspect were taken care of right way- TODAY!:) and in ONE PLACE! :) He is doing an excellent job - offering me hope - in treating my suffering.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships.
