5.0 star star star star starDr. Peters isn't just at the top of her game professionally, but she is very warm and understanding. While it's important for medical professionals to remain professional, it does help when they are empathetic and kind. Again, I feel truly well taken care of with her as my allergist.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Peters is an excellent doctor. She is caring, listens and acknowledges any concerns I might have. She makes it clear and understandable about the plan of care. Her follow-through with messages on MyChart are amazingly quick. I trust her. I've had problems with a "different NMH MD practice" where it can take a week or more to receive a message in response.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Peters is absolutely fantastic. The medication regimen she prescribed to me about two years ago has greatly improved my adult asthma, leading to a better quality of life for me. In addition to her medical expertise, she is also a delightful person.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI very much liked her cheerful and friendly appearance. I know she is a very busy immunologist (I waited two and a half months to be seen by her), I expected she would spend a little more time with me, but she mentioned that she wants to discuss with both by general practioner and cardiologist to learn more about me. I will wait and see.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Peters is good with patients and is up to date & knows her subject well. She's also a subject expert in the immune/ lung condition. She takes time to follow up on tests orders & reaches out to discuss results & treatment on the phone Dr. Peters & her team (fellows & nurses) are always available to answer questions & provide clarification. Her fellows have been responding to MyChart queries & relaying concerns to Dr. Peters so quickly, it has been really helpful We had an unfortunate (minor) fender bender on the way to the appointment. Dr. Peters went out of her way to accommodate us so I could still be seen that day. One of the medications I take requires a prior authorization & it has been very helpful to have a team to renew/redo this when it expires without having to keep track of it ourselves, or having to repeatedly ask the doctor/ nurses _ I am not sure if this is Dr. Peters' staff doing this or staff from NM Allergy and Immunology, but it is appreciated

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
