4.0 star star star star star_borderI don't know how the story ends. So far he has provided a hopeful way forward to overcome a problem. I would like to know who his back up person is in your organization if I have a problem with my eye and he is on vacation.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Grohe is an exemplar for what I want and need in a medical relationship. He was open to my problems. He was willing to discuss what I wanted and to explain what he was suggesting. And actually talked to me throughout the examination and prescription We cleared up several issues and I learned more about my conditions and their treatment than from any other optometrist I have seen in the last 30 years. This excellent patient-doctor interaction outweighs any problems that might come up

5.0 star star star star starDr. Grohe and his assistant were extremely professional, kind and carefully took time to explain each step of my check-up. They were patient and reassuring when they sensed that I was a tad nervous and treated me with kindness and offered different options for my prescription care. It was my first time seeing Dr. Grohe and I wasn't sure what to expect, but upon meeting him I was pleasantly surprised at his kind manner as well as complete professionalism. He completely eased my nervousness and I am so happy and grateful my appointment was with him.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
