5.0 star star star star starDr. Gowda is the 2 nd doctor only out of all my doctors that Actually took the time and actually listened / heard my words . And gave me a plan . I left with knowing what the plan was and how to move forward. Felt good that I might get the care and answers i need for my issues.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gowda, and Terri his assistant, are extreme professionals in their care and treatment. He is the third Pulmonology physician I have consulted since the start of my chronic illness beginning in 2008, and by far the most knowledgeable. He has great listening and teaching skills. His staff is considerate, answers phone inquiries promptly, and answers my multiple questions, all so important to me, a patient. Even with a busy schedule and with all the stress of these last years, he and his staff have been most helpful. I am a retired nurse and really appreciate having Dr. Gowda as part of the Northwestern Medicine's Pulmonology Department.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
