5.0 star star star star starDr Thomas worked with me from my first appointment to try to relieve the pain I was experiencing. I followed all of his recommendations and when I was still in pain and it was impacting my quality of life, only then did he bring up surgery. His explanations were always easily comprehensible and he always took my concerns seriously. He is amazing!

5.0 star star star star starDr Thomas was absolutely attentive to my concerns during my last visit, answered all my questions and also provided information to help me understand the procedure I was going through making me feel more in control of my recuperation. 5.0 star star star star starDr Thomas is straightforward. He doesn't sugar coat anything. I like the honesty and professionalism. He diagnosed the infection in my prosthetic knee and scheduled me for surgery. Dr Thomas took care of me even though he didn't put in my prosthetic. Other doctors I saw refused to help me because they didn't want to deal with someone else's problem. The doctor who did the original the surgery has left the state. Dr Thomas presented all options for me and left it up to me to choose how I wanted to proceed. No pressure tactics.

5.0 star star star star starDr Thomas explained my xray and condition in a manner I understood. I'm very appreciative of him taking the time to be sure I understood. I know I ask a lot of questions and Dr Thomas answered all of them Dr Thomas was not wearing any ID. This was my first time meeting w him and at first this was unsettling.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
