5.0 star star star star starDoctor Alexa King is a very kind and caring person. And an even better doctor. She seemed genuinely concerned about getting to the root about my problem. And explained the tests she felt needed to be done and why. She made me feel comfortable, and she's very easy to talk to. When and if I ever need to visit neurology again, doctor Alexa King is the person I want to see. And I would recommend her to anyone that needs a neurologist.

5.0 star star star star starShe was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and willing to listen. She explained everything very well and gave her professional opinion and advice without pressuring me at all. She was also extremely thorough and I didn't at all feel like I was being rushed.

5.0 star star star star starDr. King specializing in women with epilepsy makes me feel like I have the best possible care for someone in my condition. She’s very thorough, listens, seems compassionate, and did an amazing job explaining everything to me. I’m very happy to be in her care.

5.0 star star star star starShe takes the time to truly listen and shows she wants to help. I am very happy with my care from Dr.King and grateful to have found her. I’ve seen about 17 doctors in 6 months and nobody could figure out what was causing random seizures in an otherwise “healthy” 21 year old, but Dr.King may have found the answer.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
