5.0 star star star star starI saw Dr. Peter Hill 4/22 for a follow-up hospital stay. I had not seen him previously. He made me feel so comfortable like I had been his patient for years. He thoroughly went thru all my records and requested an "urgent referral" to get an appt with G.I.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hill was my introduction to Northwestern Health. He was professional, thorough and easy to understand. That understanding quality is a difficult one to master. He made my appointment much more comprehensive and I felt like I am good hands.

5.0 star star star star starHe gave me enough time today to discuss things. He's very thorough and explained things to me. He gave me a breast exam which was needed. Because of Medicare they won't pay for yearly gyne exam anymore. Can't see her this year because of that and she would yearly do one.

5.0 star star star star starHe is friendly, interested in my care and problems, and must have a remarkable memory because I only see him once a year (I have had unusually good health for the last ten years), but he remembers me above and beyond what is on my health record.

5.0 star star star star starI've been seeing Dr. Hill now for over 10 years. He's always friendly and answers any of my questions. He also interacts while filling out the clinical info rather than just rattling off questions. He even considered whether or not my insurance would cover an optional lab test before he ordered it (the answer is, we don't know because we decided to not take the chance).

5.0 star star star star starDr. Peter Hill is an outstanding physician. He's been my doctor for over 25 years. I've seen him in three different offices and was his patient even before he was hired full-time by Northwestern. I've always thought that he cares about me and my health and isn't afraid to tell things as they are the only complaint is that it's hard to get an appointment because he's so popular.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hill is patient and very thorough about going through the annual visit one-step-at-a-time. Every process, illness and detail is gone over with a lot of thoroughness. Better when he doesn't get called away for a 25-minute emergency, but that can't be helped.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
