5.0 star star star star starDr. David Manning is absolutely outstanding--supremely intelligent, super compassionate and an excellent communicator with his patients. Dr. Manning demonstrated a supreme interest in quality; resulting in an extremely low infection rate. Dr. Manning's Fellow, Dr. Christian Thomas, explained the procedure and associated risks--answering my ten questions, which eased all concerns moving forward with the procedure. I am confident I will have positive outcomes. Thank you so much, Dr. Manning and Dr. Thomas!!!

5.0 star star star star starHe’s a great doctor and he was highly recommended by another NM doctor who is a friend of mine. I ended up having a rare complication and I feel very confident that Dr Manning is keeping a watchful eye as I heal and recuperate.

5.0 star star star star starSpent time with me explaining everything before I made the decision to have surgery. He made me feel comfortable and not just a number and that I was just $$$ for another surgery as another doctor in Indiana did.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Manning was thorough, listened to my issues, and provided me solid data to support his treatment recommendations. He provided me non-invasive pain relief and put me on a treatment plan that has me feeling the best I have felt in over 12 months. I would recommend NW Ortho and Dr. Manning to anyone experiencing chronic and debilitating knee pain.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Manning is accessible (for existing patients), he has the experience and expertise. In my experience with him for two difficult orthopedic issues, he can find innovative solutions. He would always be my first choice for anything orthopedic.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Manning is a wonderful doctor. He knows what he is talking about, listens to what I have to say, and comes up with a solution. Dr. Manning has a very professional and kind approach to his work. However his "fellow" could use a lot more training with working with people. He was more interested in telling me what he knew than listening to what I knew. He shot down what the Immediate Care doctor had to say as well as when I went to mention about how the situation occurred, he told me that he knew all about it and would not let me finish speaking which is rude on many levels. I know that Northwestern is a training hospital and I like meeting everyone and working with everyone. I am a teacher and I understand that everyone needs to learn and practice but the "fellow" has already gone through quite a bit of training.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
