5.0 star star star star starDr Karras was amazing. He took his time going over my condition, asking me if I understand everything while also asking if I had any questions. Just overall a great experience! You can tell he really cares about his patience. I'm 58, he is the best doctor I have seen I my life! He was so helpful, patient and thorough!! I will recommend him in the future.

5.0 star star star star starI can tell he was well informed about my situation, even though it was my first time meeting him, and he was empathetic toward what I had been through. He also explained to me in great detail what I needed to have done and the likely outcome of the procedure

5.0 star star star star starMy surgical procedure was called a "Micro" since Dr Karras obtained the X-Rays I was unable to stand for due to pain. He had those X-rays done under anesthesia before the surgery. I am 83 years old and that fact played a part in the plan Dr Karras's made regarding the procedure to be done and how to get the required information for a successful result.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
