5.0 star star star star starI am extremely likely to recommend Dr. Karmali. He was thorough, patient, and took the time to truly listen to my concerns about high blood pressure. He clearly explained my options, suggested appropriate testing to establish a solid baseline, and personally followed up promptly to review my bloodwork in detail. I never felt rushed and truly appreciated his attentiveness and professionalism.

5.0 star star star star starGreat listener, very empathetic. Took time to talk through to all of my symptoms and answered all of my questions without trying to rush through the appointment, which was very comforting for a first time cardiology visit. Came up with a great action plan for follow-up tests to rule out/confirm possible causes

5.0 star star star star starHe is so patient. He said he read the reason that I was there and he said that I did not look like i had had a stroke. He went over everything and said that he would reach out to Dr.Iacob at CDH and talk to him. I was very impressed that he took the time to review my chart and had some questions for me. He is so kind and really thinks of me as a patient.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
