5.0 star star star star starShe listened to my questions and provided knowledgeable answers. She didn't make me feel rushed but took the time necessary to have an honest conversation about my concerns. She arranged immediate testing in her office. She is very professional but approachable and caring. Her staff/assistants were also very nice.

5.0 star star star star starShe is very concerned about your health. She makes me feel extremely comfortable when I talk with her with any issues I may have. I've lived out of state for four years and still travel to Chicago to see her for my diabetes. Wouldn't want any other Dr.

5.0 star star star star starI don't believe that I can describe the emotions of relief, gratitude and pure hope that Dr Zander gave me. She listened, she empathized, she literally cared about how I felt. She asked questions and I could tell she cared and listened and responded. What a difference from what I have dealt with in the past. I had Dr Stolar downtown and loved him, but had to try Advocate down here and it was awful. I got sicker and sicker and my health, mental health and life quality suffered in very profound ways. Dr Zander is my partner in getting well and I am so grateful I found her! She is actually interested in working with me. Shes amazing.

5.0 star star star star starI have a healthy thyroid now. The doctors in my area only gave me the option of destroying it. They also didn't check me for the eye component, which can be made worse by radiating the thyroid. I was carefully checked over and my desire to just remain on medication was not seen as disasterous. In fact, it was supported and I was monitered during that time.

5.0 star star star star starShe is very knowledgeable in her field. She makes the necessary adjustments in my medication regiment and explains why changes are needed to be made. She is easy to talk with and most of all she listens to her patients concerns.

5.0 star star star star starLet me start by saying I wish I could give her 1000 out of 10 because she was so great. I learned more information about my condition in one short visit than I did 3 visits with my old endocrinologist. And I only did she inform me about what was going on with my thyroid, but she also made me feel better about it. She answered every question that I had without making me feel silly for having a question and I definitely feel like she actually cared about me as a person. She didn’t just see me as a $

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
