5.0 star star star star starThis was my first appointment with Dr. Nisimova. I'm usually seen by a different internist but Dr. Nisimova had an sooner opening. I was very nervous because of the nature of needing an urgent appointment and she was so kind and calming. She took her time to listen to my concerns and then addressed each of them. She ordered tests and explained why for each one which made me feel comfortable and in good hands. She is very knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good internist.

5.0 star star star star starShe cares and her personality exudes warmth, friendliness and experience. She didn’t treat me like a number or a nuisance which sometimes can be the case w doctors in high volume environments. I felt like I was getting thoroughly checked out for the reasons of the visit and it was focused and a productive discussion. If she were accepting new patients, I’d be on the list to join. And I normally dislike doctor visits (anxiety and general avoidance unless absolutely necessary)

5.0 star star star star starDr. Nisimova is highly professional specialist and compassionate person. She listens a patient very attentively and acknowledges patients concerns. She explains clearly and politely (not scaring a patient!) the medical things and take into consideration patient's point of view/suggestion on the problem and engages into a shared-decision making for managing a medical issue. Thank you, doctor Nisimova!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Nisimova addressed all of my concerns that I had regarding the new medication and recent diagnosis. Ordered additional labs which strongly suggested: discontinuing medication at this time and to closely monitor potential for development of underactive condition going forward...

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderI never feel good about myself when I see her. I know that there are improvements that I can make with my health but it doesn’t feel like she is on my team but rather blaming me for not taking care of myself. Without giving real options.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
