5.0 star star star star starHE WAS CHEERFUL, GAVE VERY DIRECT QUESTIONS AND CORRESPONDING SOLUTIONS TO MY PROBLEMS. MY NERVOUSNESS DISSIPATED AS SOON AS HE EXAMINED ME. HE HAD A GOOD TALK WITH MY HUSBAND ON MY CURRENT AND FUTURE CARE, WHICH I FOUND VERY HELPFUL.I WAS SO GLAD THAT HE KNEW MY PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR AND HE WROTE HER A SHORT LETTER ABOUT MY CONDITION. HE WAS ALSO VERY HELPFUL DISCUSSING THE SUPPLEMENTAL DIETARY PILLS I WAS GOING TO TRY AND WHAT I SHOULD DO IF I GET OR FEEL A NEGATIVE REACTION AND TO MAKE IT KNOWN TO HIM ASAP AND TO STOP TAKING THE SUPPLEMENTAL DIETARY PILLS.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Fintel and I have a great track record (pun intended: he recently advised me to keep up my daily runs).Following a massive heart attack 10 years ago, Dr. Fintel has guided and advised me with skill and compassion. I have enjoyed stable cardio health, a great quality of life, and am grateful for the important part he has played in my life.

5.0 star star star star starHis credentials are excellent but he is in such high demand - he doesn’t even remember or know you - you have to wait while he goes in to records as you tell him why you showed up - he is top man on totem pole but the hospital is super demanding of him so he gets a 10 and the hospital policy 5.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Fintel is an expert in cardiology; he uses his knowledge, talents, and humanity to address his patients’ health.Dr. Fintel is extremely intelligent and very enthusiastic when treating his patients and when he sees improvements in their health. He deeply values his patients and would do what it takes to ensure they get all the care they need. Dr. Fintel is very humble & happy which translates to his patients. I really don’t have the best words to describes him. NW is just very lucky to have such a unique and dedicated cardiologist.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Fintel is thoughtful, thorough, kind. Overall *excellent* cardiologist. Cannot recommend highly enough. And that is coming from a patient with a complex heart/neuro condition that is both incredibly hard to manage and is poorly understood by many physicians. Dr. Fintel is excellent re: care, communication, applying expertise, and is kind.

5.0 star star star star starMy experience of Dr. Fintel is he is very knowledgeable and skilled. He has a no-nonsense but pleasant manner. Although I only have been seeing him yearly, he always seems to know me personally and is up to date with my medical record. I am grateful that his recommendations have kept me stable for many years.

5.0 star star star star starHe not only shows concern for your medical issues, but tells you so. In addition, he takes the time that you need to attend to you and to answer your questions regardless of how busy he is. He emanates a feeling of 'We are in this together - you are not alone - I am here to help you on this journey.'

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
